 Planting Trees for a Better Tomorrow Â
As an herbalist and green/kitchen witch, the environment has always been something I am very passionate about. Our Mother Earth has given us a place to live, a way to sustain ourselves, and everything we need to stay healthy and happy. I am a huge advocate for reforestation and planting trees where they are needed. I tend to my garden and I make sure to give back to the earth for it has given me so much.

With this idea of a better tomorrow, I know we need to take action now to replenish our earth before it is too late. When I founded Cauldron Emporium I knew I wanted to do more than spread my knowledge of herbalism and natural living. I want to make a difference and help others make a difference as well.Â

I have partnered up with One Tree Planted to reforest our world.

My goal is to plant at least 1,000 trees this year and I know together we can do it.

About One Tree Planted
​

Trees have a wide range of benefits. One TreePlanted focuses on what they call the 6 Pillars of Reforestation to explain why trees are important:

Health - It’s impossible to ignore that feeling of elation you get while walking through a calm, quiet forest. Trees help reduce stress and anxiety, and allow us to reconnect with nature.
Climate - Trees help cool the planet by sucking in and storing harmful greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide into their trunks, branches, and leaves — and releasing oxygen back into the atmosphere.

I believe all of these are imperative factors to our human existence and cohabiting the earth so I am proud to support OTP and their efforts to reforest the earth.

Cauldron Emporium is a small, Latin woman-owned business based out of Mansfield, TX. I make and sell products that help to maintain people's amazing energy and vibes. I opened shop back in 2020. I had been practicing herbalism for my private use for about 10 years before I decided to take the next step. I would say that even though my shop is relatively new, my business began about 6 years ago when I started to attend local crafter markets to sell my remedies and crafts. I learned so much in that process and love what I do. It's been a long journey getting here and I am sure it will be a long journey ahead.

Since I was young, I have always felt a call for nature and witchcraft. I was born in Mexico, and lived there for quite some time before my family moved to the USA. Every time someone asks me why I do what I do, I often think about my years in Mexico where I learned a lot from my grandmother. She used to tell me that cuts and scrapes could be healed with a poultice or salve and everything else could be healed with good food. She had a big garden with lots of herbs, fruiting plants and chickens. We always had a bounty to choose from and experiment. I would help her cook in the kitchen or play outside under the trees. I think since then, when I was maybe 8 or 9, I already knew I would always want to be around plants and use cooking to heal. I strayed a bit from my herbalist path for a few years with the move and adjusting to a completely new life but my calling was strong and I went back to it.

Being an herbalist and green/kitchen witch, I focus most of my practice on green witchery. I absolutely love plants and their medicinal uses as well as other healing properties. As I am growing my shop, I am making sure to extend my products to include these wonderful benefits. I plan on eventually doing classes to teach people how to craft their own remedies and learn about the wonderful world of plants. While I work on my curriculums, I am working on simple home kits people can buy to get started and learn from home now. I would love for everyone to be able to treat and heal themselves using nature’s bounty. I also very much believe in the power of crystals. They hold energy within and remind us to keep our intentions strong.

I would like for everyone to know that I am passionate about helping people, animals and our environment. One of the reasons I began my business was so that I could spread awareness for a healthier and more natural lifestyle with others. I hope my shop brings all visitors, shoppers or not, a little bit more knowledge and that my products help them achieve their goals. If anyone needs help, I am always happy to have a text conversation or phone call. The support of my community allows me to continue my journey but the health of the community is the real goal. I have big plans for the shop and I hope people will benefit from what I have to offer.
